Aluminium bronze (AB) and High tensile coppers (W)

Lagermetall AB have during year 2004, been given the possibility to offer our clients and the market, a large program of extrahard aluminum-bronzes ( AB-alloys) and high tensile copper alloys ( W-alloys)

These alloys are especially well suited for the following applications:

AB alloys -have a hardness pending from ca. 200 HB up till 400 HB. Can be used in all sorts of applications where high demands are requested for, when it comes to tensile strength, abrasion- and wear/tear-resistance as well as good sliding abilities.

Ex. on areas of use is e.g. tool-parts in injection moulding of plastics and for wear-parts within the manufacturing process of various steel alloys ( in forming-, drawing- or bending-operations for steel/stainless steel, work support blades for centreless grinding of steel bars, guide port bushings and wear strips replacing hardened steel) etc.

W-alloys - A large series of high tensile copper alloys, well suited for applications where demands are, not only to provide excellent abilities when it comes to thermal- and electrical- conductivity, but also to perform high mechanical properties.

Ex. on areas of use are e.g. various sorts of welding-rods and -electrodes, parts for press-casting aluminum and various parts in the tooling for injection moulding of plastic alloys etc.

 

 

Our partner, when it comes to these new alloys, are the company ALBROMET Handelsgesällschaft mbH, with more than 20 years of experience from working with aluminum-bronzes. ALBROMET HmbH, have their office and warehouse,in Geretsried, a little bit south of Munich.

Lagermetall is the partner for Albromet in Scandinavia and parts of the Baltic area.

Stocking material

Today we carry a limited stock of Sprayformed HSC-materials and a huge stock of alloy AB-200.

Our aim however, is also to build up a broad and wide stock of AB-bronzes and W-alloys during this year and next.

If Your request not in stock, deliverytime will be ca. 5 - 10 days, depending on the size or volume of the shipment.
