Material description
BC8 is a high strength tinbronze-alloy with good spring properties. With its excellent processability it gives the alloy ideal conditions for the production of all sorts of connectors. BC8 is also well suited for all sorts of fine mechanics where high resistance is needed.
Through its tensile- and yield-strength, it is an environmentally improved replacement for e.g. Beryllium-copper.
BC8, however does not have the same thermal- or electrical conductivity.
