Information
  • Other identical or equivalent alloys are C 95900 just the unique casting method differs. Previous alloy-name by LM was WAB-1 (change of alloy name year 2004, due to slight change in chemical composition).
  • The great benefit with the alloy and the castingmethod of Sprayforming is that it creates a tensionfree, fully homogenous material that is easier to machine and friendlier towards the machining tools (up to 40 % saving costs of tools due to good chipping).
  • 25 % extended lifespan of products due to higher pressure resistance, good homogeneity
Areas of use

ie rings, inserts and forming rolls etc. in forming-, drawing- or bending-operations for steel/stainless steel, work support blades for centreless grinding of steel bars, guide port bushings and wear strips replacing hardened steel etc.
