FB 092 - Rolled phosphor-tinbronze bearings with lubrication reservoires
AB 090/AB 092 are manufactured from a specially-alloyed and -treated, phosphorous-tinbronze-material, especially constructed to handle heavy loads, abrasion and shock-stress.

Description
FB 092 is a top quality bearing made from rolled phosphor-tinbronze-sheets with punched through holes used as lubriction reservoires. The base material creates a bearing with good sliding characteristics, high wearability and anti-corrosive properties. FB 092 and FBB 092 are suited for both radial and axial move-ments. They are especially well suited for high loads working under relatively slow movements. FB 092 is a development from the FB 090 -bearings (FB090 is the same material but with no punched-through-holes) used where high demands for lubrication is requested. The positive impact of better lubrication (lubr. reservoires) is to a certain point effecting the wearability of the bearing. This effect, however, is compensated through better lubrication which creates more or less similar mechanical values as the FB 090 -series of bearings. It can be applied in any construction under oscillating motion, in open field or in corrosive enviroments such as hoisters, bulldozers, forest- and mining machinery, cranes and excavators etc.

Shaft material
A shaft hardness of min. 150 HB is recommended to the FB 090 - and FB 092 -series of bearings. With the use of a chrome plated shaft a maximum bearing enviroment, favourable friction and a prolonged lifespan is achieved. Shaft tolerances e7 or f7 are recommended and are then intended to be pressed into housing bores H7 . After pressing the inside diameter of the bearing will hold H9 -tolerance. If h-shafts are used, the housing tolerance F7 should be applied.
Complementary products
As an extra complement, a seal made of thermoplastic can be produced as an additive to the FB 092 . The seal itself is resistant to most greases and oils. It also has a good resistance against UV-radiation and ageing. It is also 100% recyclable. This enables the FB 092 to hold lubrication even better. The seal has a lip side with built-in preload, which keeps the lubricants on the inside and the dirt on the outside. This type of seal is only produced for those with very high demands on lubrication (against client orders) and clean sliding surface. If needed, FB 092 with a seal is called FB 092T .
