Other information
5640 is not suited for welding or soldering (due to its lead-content). The material is however possible to use for glueing. Is very similar to alloy Rg7 in its mechanical abilities.
Examples on areas of use
Bearings exposed to edge pressure, bearings with high demands on lubrication, marine details (sea water resistant), pumpdetails etc.
