Other information

5716-20 is well suited for welding (not soldering) and glueing. It is also an alloy with high cavitation-, erosion- and corrosion-resistance. Insensitive to shockstress, very good abrasion and wear resistance. All mechanical values are a bit better on 5716-20 (than 5716-15).

Examples on areas of use

Marine applications (resistant in saltwater), wormwheels, sliding- and wear-plates, bearings exposed to shock stress, guideparts for hydraulics, valves, sparkless tools etc.
